Free Weatherization Available

Weatherization is performed free of charge for income-qualifying households. Applications are taken year-round by CEDA, the Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County, Inc. 

Weatherization work includes attic and wall insulation, draft sealing, furnace and boiler improvements, fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide and smoke detectors, safety testing of all gas appliances and window and door repair and improvement.
