4th Annual Chicago Northside Mini Maker Faire

Saturday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Schurz High School
3601 N. Milwaukee Ave.
Join us as Schurz High School celebrates over 100 years of history by taking bold new steps into the future of teaching and learning! Chicago Northside Mini Maker Faire is a festival of creativity and innovation showcasing the incredible talent of our students, faculty, families, and wonderful new friends and makers from across the city, and even the country!
Chicago Northside Mini Maker Faire is a community exposition of science, art, technology and creativity unlike any school program you have ever attended. Our event will include hands-on experiences, interactive demonstrations and creative endeavors true to the spirit of Makers: a D.I.Y. (Do It Yourself!) exploration for the entire family to enjoy.
Families, students and thinkers of all ages are welcome.
To VOLUNTEER sign guests into the FREE event with a smile, collect donations, direct traffic, help exhibitors, and answer questions. Lunch will be provided, and there will be opportunities to explore the Faire, too.
To be a MAKER, it is still FREE to showcase your stuff. As always, we encourage hands-on activities, learning and teaching of fun skills (catapult building, upcycling art, or making that-cool-thing), anything we haven't seen before, and young makers. Half of our Makers are 18-years-old or younger! We are accepting applications through April 6th.
To ATTEND, please reserve FREE tickets.
